This beautiful trek takes you up to Geocha-la at 5000 m, opposite the eastern face of the third highest in the world and one of the most magnificent peaks of the Himalayan range. After visiting the various sites of Darjeeling we drive to Yuksom that serves as the gateway to the Kanchenjunga National Park. The trek follows dense sub-tropical forests past meadows until we reach the upper reaches of the region. Lush green forests give way to few arctic high Himalayan plants and shrubs. The highlight of the route is the Goecha-la from where we can savour superb views of the Kanchenjunga and a host of other peaks. After the glorious trek we retrace our fabulous journey back to Yuksom with a drive to Kalimpong which offers amazing vistas.
