This adventurous trip is certainly one of the toughest biking trips that you can come across. This arduous journey is an epic undertaking that entails you to traverse passes that stand above 5000 m. The ride is once in a lifetime experience that taxes you physically and tests your endurance to the utmost so it is recommended to people who are mentally tough and strong people and can brave high altitude. The trip begins with a sweeping flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa across the Himalayas that provide astounding views of Mt. Everest and some of the highest peaks in the world. We spend some time in Lhasa to get acclimate to the altitude and prepare for our days ahead. Meanwhile we enjoy the magical sights in and around Lhasa. A visit to the timeless Potala Palace, the Jokhang Temple and the Barkhor is an amazing experience. After a much needed acclimatization we begin our ride across the Tibetan plateau to kathmandu. On this entire trip the road traverses a high and dry plateau-land, punctuated by the unforgettable monastery towns of Gyantse, Shigatse and Shegar and also by several smaller settlements and nomadic encampments. En route we visit the Base Camp of Mt. Everest and highest monastery at Rongbuk before we conclude this epic biking adventure in Kathmandu.
Day 01-2: Arrive Kathmandu.
Day 03: Fly Kathmandu / Lhasa.
Day 04-6: Biking around Lhasa.
Day 07-18: Bike to Rongbuk via Gyantse / Shigatse.
Day 19-23: Bike to Dhulikhel.
Day 24: Bike to Kathmandu.
Day 26: International Departure.
