Situated at 2100 m, this place is famous for its sunrise and sunset on the backdrops of the snow capped Himalayas. Close and easily accessible Nagarkot provides a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. You can relax and enjoy the beautiful mountains as it stretches from the east to the west. We continue with a visit to Dakshin Kali situated on the southern flanks of the city. Dedicated to Goddess kali this temple draws pilgrims from all across the valley and beyond. We conclude our trip with a visit to Swayambhunath, with the all seeing eyes of the Buddha that has become an endearing symbol of Nepal. Often referred to as the Monkey temple, this landmark is a melting pot of two of the country’s greatest religions. You can see both Hindus and Buddhists come here to offer their prayers which are an interesting and unique aspect of this temple.
