Mount Kailash, the abode of the great Hindu God Lord Shiva and Kang Ringboche, is a magical destination and a travel to this mystical mountain is a “once in a lifetime experience”. Located in absolute remoteness a visit for mankind to this mountain was something of a dream in the past. But now with development dreams have turned into reality. The vast network of motorable roads and major highways has made it possible for people to undertake a pilgrimage to this mountain. Our adventure begins with a sweeping flight across the great Himalayas into Tibet. Once in Lhasa we spend some time acclimatizing and visiting some interesting places including the majestic beautiful Potala Palace. We then drive across the Tibetan plateau to the holy Lake Mansorover and Mt.Kailash for the pilgrimage circumambulation and to achieve our ultimate spiritual goal before returning back to Kathmandu.
