Mountain Makalu 8,481 m, Mt Everest 8,848 m, Mt Cho Oyu 8,201 m, Mt Lhotse 8,516 m, and Nuptse 7861 m are attractive Peaks between heights mountain Makalu 8,481 m, Mt Everest 8,848 m, Mt Cho Oyu 8,201 m, Mt Lhotse 8,516 m, and Nuptse 7861m. Baruntse is bordered on the south by the spectacular Hunku Glacier, on the east by the Barun Glacier, and on the north by the Imja Glacier. From Baruntse Summit, the tallest Himalayan peaks may be viewed in the distance. The name Baruntse comes from the fact that it is located next to Makalu. Starting in 1954, a series of excursions were carried out, culminating in the first summit.

The Baruntse expedition route is a rewarding remote region peak climbing experience, however it is difficult to reach in comparison to Nepal's other mountains. There is a significant challenge in the first part, from Baruntse high camp to Baruntse camp one, which is known as west Col pass (ice col pass). In the west Col pass, you must fix the ropes to pull up all of the climbing gear, foods, and climbing members to camp 1. There are also several overhanging corners and ridges before the summit.
